Pasta Party

Pasta Party took inspiration from Burning Man, with especial regard to the ‘GIFTING’ principle.
It is all about fostering the Community expecting anything back: a non-commercial, no-ticketed event.
A home gathering where people get together for music, drinks, and dinner. While individuals do often return regularly, new strangers active in various aspects of art, music,
and fashion scenes make up the bulk of attendees at every gathering. Pasta Party provides a space and opportunity to talk and make
more personal connections on a deeper level than what might usually happen in a club or a bar environment.
We always cook pasta.
The founding members are Italian and cooking pasta is what they do.
The environment is cozy, informal, with all comforts designed to enhance the connection. Dinner is served family style, shared from only a few dishes, so people find themselves “breaking bread” literally with a new friend they didn’t until just a few minutes prior. The room is small with a few chairs and partakers find themselves encouraged to interact in meaningful ways.
Wednesday is Pasta Party, it’s not a weekend warm-up. It’s a pause, a reset, a midweek gift.
A little holiday in the middle of the week. A moment to slow down, breathe, connect, and be present.
Boil water, break bread, be real.
